Replacement crew.  Aborted zone 4 due to jammed bomb bay doors.  Returned with Norden smashed, damaged control cables in the tail, aileron controls in the cockpit, heat in the waist and ball gunner stations out, and the bomb bay doors disabled and 1 casualty. Claims: 1 Fw-190 by Sgt. Durden.  Replacement: Sgt. Dimanche.
